[Keynote] Public funding to accelerate CCUS projects in Europe
  • Reaching the EU’s objective of cutting greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55 percent by 2030 will require a massive scale up of CCUS projects across Europe. Companies now face a decisive moment where access to public funding can unlock projects that would otherwise remain on the drawing board. The core public funding toolbox available to industrial players includes The Innovation Fund, the Connecting Europe Facility, and national State aid schemes under CEEAG and CISAF.
  • In this session, Marc Isabelle will outline how these instruments can accelerate the deployment of innovative technologies, CO2 infrastructure and large scale decarbonisation projects. The presentation will offer a clear, actionable overview to help companies position their projects for upcoming funding opportunities and contribute to Europe’s climate and industrial ambitions.
